Booking and Cancellation Policy

Cromwell House is a small boutique Bed and Breakfast, with a limited number of rooms.  Due to our small size and the fact that we don’t overbook like motels, cancellations and changes made to arrival and departure dates affect us significantly.

Check-in time is from 3:00 pm, other times can be arranged with prior notice.
Check-out time is 10.30 am
We regret we cannot accommodate pets; however we will assist you in making arrangements with a local kennel.
We are an entirely smoke-free bed and breakfast establishment. This includes the main house, verandah and summer house. There is a bench in the carpark, well away from the house, for guests wanting to smoke.

Steve Allen reserves the right to cancel your reservation should an adult be unruly, or disruptive, disturbing the enjoyment of other guests. In the event your reservation is cancelled, by Steve Allen, you will NOT be entitled to the return of monies paid.

Reservations: Reservations are guaranteed only upon receipt of a deposit equal to the first night’s stay or 50% of your total reservation, whichever is greater, and is applied to the last night of your reservation. During high season 1 May – 31 September payment in full at the time of booking is required, and is not refundable unless cancelled by email, 14 days or more from your arrival date.

All rates quoted are based on double occupancy. All of our rooms contain queen size beds and are suitable for no more than 2 persons.

Early departure will result in forfeiture of your deposit. The deposit must be received within seven days of confirmation to avoid cancellation. You will receive written confirmation of your reservation, by email. Weekends and some holidays require a 2 or 3 night minimum stay and advance payment in full.

*Note: Prices listed above are per night. Sunday and Monday of a holiday weekend as well as New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Australia Day, Valentine’s Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be priced at the weekend rate. . During certain holiday and “event weekends” prices may be higher.

Cancellation Policy:

If your travel plans change and you must cancel or change your reservation please call us at least 14 days prior to your arrival for a full refund minus a $25.00 per night/per room cancellation fee.
Guests canceling less than 15 days will be charged the full amount of the anticipated stay unless the room is re-booked, minus a cancellation fee of $25.00 per room/per night.
No-show and same day cancellations will be charged for the entire stay.
Guests booking more than one room will be required to give a 30 day notice of cancellation.

Cancellations are accepted over the phone, or by email. Your cancellation will be confirmed by email, to confirm receipt.

Corporate Discounts: Available to the business traveler Sunday through Thursday, call for details.
